About

Hi, I am Amy Hardesty, a 25-year-old native of Brandenburg, KY. I transferred to NKU after obtaining my Associate of Arts in Education from Elizabethtown Community and Technical College in 2013. Prior to transferring to Northern Kentucky University, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Costa Rica and Panama. Upon my entry to NKU, I was unsure of a direction, until I took an Introduction to Printmaking course and fell in love. I was formally accepted into the School of the Arts Fine Arts Program in the Fall of 2014.

I graduated Cum Laude in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking along with a minor in Psychological Sciences. I have expressed interest in furthering my education through a Master of Fine Arts Program. Until that point, I am working as a Lead Interior Design Consultant in Columbus, OH. I have set up a very small studio space in my home where I draw, carve, and write.

I am looking forward to all of the opportunities that lie in front of me and hope that you enjoy hearing about them and growing with me.
